We have an ever expanding set of tools designed to help Primary Care to look after patients as effectively as possible.  Because of the breadth of our tools we can never hope to show you their full functionality through a static web page so please do consider contacting us for a demonstration where we can show you their full potential.  You can divide up our tools into the following categories:

Our dynamic smart templates are based on user role, so that they present the correct information for the persons skill mix.  We build in all your locally enhanced services to the templates to ensure that you hit these targets.

Examples of the the dynamic nature - for COPD patients it will tell you what level of GOLD or which ABCD group the patient fits into.  Diabetic patients on drugs that cause hypos have a hypo awareness section, those that aren't don't.  There are literally hundreds of examples like this.

We are constantly balancing the risk of having not enough information and so just being a coarse data entry tool and too much information and users feeling overwhelmed.  Building in current evidence in a structured way that means its accessible to all is a real skill and one that we think we've got nailed.

Localisation on steroids

We don't just build in your locally enhanced services into your templates.  We embed them into the relevant sections of the template so the data entry flows naturally.  We highlight the data points in purple and add a star to them.  We also look more broadly at your specs and think "is there anything else we could do to help achieve these".  Where there are patients who may fit into the local schemes but aren't hitting targets we build alerts to highlight this.  In keeping with all of our other tools, these are really smart and tell you exactly the issues for the patient you're reviewing.  If there are targets where we think other protocols could be deployed to achieve your targets - we build you these too.  In this way your locally enhanced services targets are much more easy to achieve.

Smart alerts

Our smart alerts OneResults and OneMonitoring show you exactly what blood monitoring and other elements of care are required for the patient you're reviewing.  If you're doing medicines management, no more the flicking between this and pathology or problems or diary - it's all there in OneResults and OneMonitoring in the zap box

Massive suite of Handy Protocols

Over 200 handy protocols in existence.  Covering many different areas such as:

  • QOF
  • Coding consistency
  • Decision support
  • Administrative tools for speeding up data entry
  • Disease optimisation
  • Driving up vaccine coverage
  • Patient safety
  • Enhanced information
  • Prescribing support
  • Quality practice
  • Safety alerts
  • Supporting delegation of work
  • Time saving (automation)

No toolset would be complete without searches and we've got them in spades.  Something we haven't - tell us and we'll build it - that's why we set up Primary Care IT in the first place!

A full package to manage your recall within practice.  Encompassing searches, alerts for reception staff, alerts for clinicians making recall of patients everybodys job within the practice and ensuring your processes are as streamlined as possible.

A state of the art business intelligence tool, brought to bear within Primary Care.  Lots of practices just work to their percentages for QOF and aren't able to fully quantify the risk that falls in their tail.  What about those patients who just stop taking their medications and therefore don't get picked up?  OneAnalytics has all this covered and much much more.  See which patients need monitoring for their medication.  See how your staff vary with recording QOF data.  For your PCN look at groups of patients that you may want to get your pharmacist or social prescriber to begin to engage with.
